Three Days That Shaped the Future
Together, we explored how to transform Texas education—from classroom to career. We heard from Maj. Gen. Tony Cucolo on leading transformation without losing our mission. We celebrated excellence at the Star Awards reception. We engaged in critical conversations about the Texas talent pipeline, student success, transfer pathways, and workforce alignment.
Most importantly, we connected. Over 500 higher education leaders, policymakers, workforce partners, students, and changemakers came together to share solutions, forge partnerships, and chart the path forward for every Texan.
The ideas sparked at Higher EDge 2025 are just the beginning. As we work toward the goals of Building a Talent Strong Texas, the partnerships and insights from this conference will help shape policy, transform institutions, and create pathways to success for students across our state.
