Darryl Heath is the Executive Director of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Innovation Partnership, focused on the growth and development of Texas A&M Fort Worth. His leadership of the partnership is particularly aimed at creating innovation concepts and corporate partnerships within the new campus. He is also the owner of Heath Family Holdings LLC, with interests in multiple technology startups, restaurant franchises, and other innovation-related entities. He also spends time coaching and mentoring in leadership, relationship management, board effectiveness, and change management.
Heath also serves on the Texas Higher Education Foundation Board. He is the immediate past chairman of the Texas A&M Engineering Advisory Council and was recognized in 2023 as a Distinguished Alumni of the Texas A&M Engineering College. He is also a regional vice chair for the Texas A&M Chancellor’s Century Council, a former trustee of the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation, and a past chair of the Junior Achievement of Dallas Board of Directors.
In 2015, Heath retired from Accenture, one of the world’s largest technology consulting and services firms, after a career of more than 30 years. As the Office Managing Director of Accenture’s Dallas/Fort Worth location and a member of Accenture’s North American Leadership Team, he had overall responsibility in all aspects of the business. He also spent much of his career serving some of Accenture’s largest global clients across multiple industries and geographies. In addition to his client responsibilities, he held numerous leadership positions in Accenture’s Human Performance and Change Management practices as well as multiple industry practices.
Heath is a native Texan and was a first-generation college student. He is married to his high school best friend (40 years), and they have four sons and one granddaughter, with another on the way.
