The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board provides a Net Price Calculator webpage to allow the general public the ability to access estimated net price information for the institution they attend or plan to attend based on the user’s individual circumstances. Please note that not all institutions in Texas will have an NPC available on this website. If you are unable to find the institution, please visit their website to inquire directly.
The calculator for each institution listed through this website is intended to provide estimated net price information (defined as the estimated cost of attendance minus estimated grant and scholarship aid) to current and prospective students and their families based on what similar students paid in a previous year. The calculation of the estimated net cost of attendance is for a first-time entering, full-time student on this website.
In order to determine eligibility and receive an actual award that includes federal and state grants, loans, work-study, or other types of financial aid assistance, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more information on applying for federal student aid, go to https://studentaid.gov/. For individuals who are ineligible to complete the FAFSA, an alternative form called the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is available. Please check with the institution you attend or plan to attend to determine if this form is appropriate.
