Institutional Grant Opportunities
New THECB Grants Management System Launched!
THECB has launched our new Fluxx Grants Management System (GMS) – an online platform designed to make applying for and managing grants more efficient and transparent. Our new GMS will streamline the entire grant lifecycle, from application to award and reporting.
What You Need to Know
- Create and access your GMS account via THECB Online Grants Portal.
- Make sure your IT administration knows to accept emails from this URL: fluxx.io.
- GMS accounts can be used to apply for grant opportunities on behalf of Texas colleges, universities, schools, and other qualified applicants as specified by the grant program’s eligibility requirements for application.
- Individual GMS users will be linked to their organization upon account activation.
- Grant seekers interested in applying for a grant opportunity that has already been incorporated into the GMS will be automatically redirected to the THECB Online Grants Portal via the GMS link on the grant program’s webpage.
- Grant seekers will need to sign up for a GMS account via THECB Online Grants Portal before applying
- Applications will be completed and submitted through the new GMS.
- Grant seekers and grantees will submit all required information via the GMS.
- Grant seekers will continue to be able to review the available grant opportunities via this webpage.
- Grant seekers will need to sign up for a GMS account via THECB Online Grants Portal before applying
- THECB will continue to post grant opportunities and provide grant program information on the THECB website.
- GMS access will not be required to view the THECB Institutional Grant Opportunities web content.
- THECB has started transitioning statutorily required THECB Institutional Grant Opportunities into the GMS; we plan to complete the transition by summer of 2027.
- Grant programs with an open application cycle prior to their GMS incorporation will continue to provide application instructions and access via the links on the grant program webpage’s “Accepting Applications” section, under “How to Apply.”
