Brian Haley

Brian Haley is the co-founder of CB Capital, a diversified asset management and real estate development firm focused on Texas’s high-growth communities. He also serves as Canada’s Honorary Consul in Austin.

Prior to co-founding CB Capital, Brian was a vice president at Limestone Capital Advisors, an Austin-based private equity firm. His professional background also includes leading national finance operations for the presidential campaigns of Governor Tim Pawlenty and Senator John McCain, as well as serving in Dell Inc.’s China and Hong Kong business operations.

Brian is deeply engaged in civic and philanthropic leadership. He currently chairs the Texas Performing Arts at the University of Texas and serves as a trustee for the Blanton Museum of Art, the Texas Exes, Austin PBS/Austin City Limits, and The Salvation Army of Central Texas. He is also a lead investor in Opportunity Austin, a member of the University of Texas System Chancellor’s Executive Council, and the University of Texas at Austin’s Development Board.

His prior service includes terms as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, trustee of the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board, public safety commissioner for the City of Austin, and the first student regent for the University of Texas System.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was elected student body president, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.

He and his wife live in Austin with their two children.
