Agenda

For the accountability meetings this year, we will focus on equity-minded leadership support for our institutions. Thanks to a generous grant, the first two hours of the meeting will be dedicated to a learning session focused on building a strong understanding of equity, deficit thinking, strength-based language, and applying an equity lens to data gathering and dissemination. The learning session portion will be created and facilitated through Maya Consulting, an organization specializing in equity professional development.

The remaining time will be dedicated to a Question and Answer session with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Strategic Planning staff. During this time, we encourage institutions to pose questions related, but not limited to, the accountability system; data reporting, analysis, and outcomes; progress on the 60x30TX state plan; reporting-related challenges due to the Coronavirus pandemic; and other THECB initiatives and programs.
