Texas is preparing more students to join the workforce and drive the economy than ever before. Our colleges and universities are critical partners in this effort, from public two-year technical and community colleges to four-year institutions and independent colleges and universities.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is a resource, partner, and advocate for institutions of higher education and the more than 1.3 million students they serve. Our support is wide ranging:
- Providing student financial aid and institutional grants
- Collecting and disseminating digital learning resources
- Facilitating high-demand credential programs
- Backing work-based learning programs
- Delivering training for institutional and systems leaders
- Overseeing, collecting, and synthesizing data from institutions so we can see how Texas is meeting its higher-ed goals
We are proud to support Texas colleges and universities in developing talent that drives the economy and accelerates innovation. With a focus on student equity, access, and success, we are working together to ensure all Texans can participate in, benefit from, and contribute to the unique opportunities of our great state.
