Title of Contract, Award, or Gift: Thermal Radiator for CO2 Deposition in 'Deep Space Transit

Name of Granting or Contracting Agency/Entity: National Space Grant Foundation

CFDA: 43.003

Program Title: N/A

The objective of this project is to investigate and demonstrate the feasibility of an innovative thermal radiator that can be used for CO2 deposition in deep space missions. The project scope will involve designing, building and testing a benchtop scaled thermal radiator capable of rejecting heat at 130K, and then modeling its operation to predict performance and scalability of a full-size system for 1 kW heat rejection.
