In May 2022 Commissioner Harrison Keller announced the Accelerating Credentials of Purpose and Value Planning Grant opportunity that supports public Texas colleges, universities and health-related institutions planning for the accelerated development or expansion of short-term industry-recognized postsecondary credentials required by high-demand careers in the following areas:
- Advanced Manufacturing (Including Biomedical)
- Data Analytics
- Digital Skills
- Front-line Healthcare
- General Management/Sales
- Transportation/Logistics

This is not a competitive grant. Planning grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to eligible applicants. Applicants must submit a letter of interest, proposed budget, letter of commitment from the workforce sector and required federal certification and disclosure forms.
