Note:

For the proposed project, the “Problem Solving Training (PST) for English- and Spanish-speaking Care Partners of adults with Alzheimer's and Alzheimer’s-related dementia”. Dr. Maestre and her team will provide expertise on critical aspects required to successful completion of the goals of the project such as supervision of the fieldwork in the Rio Grande Valley, enrollment, data management, analysis and assessment of older adults community residents of the Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Maestre will serve as the lead investigator at UTRGV and will work closely with the Dr. Juengst at UTSW and all Co-Investigators on the study design and meet regularly with all investigators. Dr. Michael Machiorlatti will work closely with Dr. Juengst at UTSW and Dr. Smith at Texas A&M to design the analytic plan and carry out the analyses. In addition, over the course of the project, Dr. Machiorlatti will work with the MSc. Toranzo at UTRGV to ensure quality control and optimal organization of the database for statistical analysis. Dr. Maestre will maintain daily to weekly email, teleconference, and telephone communications with the research team at UTSW, to discuss project development and provide information to support data collection, analysis and interpretation, preparation of manuscripts and other scientific communications.
