Note:

SAMs 1.2.1 Overview: Pilot research by the PI and Co-PI suggests disparities in access to post-discharge aphasia services and support in the North-Texas region. These disparities negatively impact Dallas residents with aphasia and their access to post-discharge services and supports across the wider Dallas-Fort Worth-Denton metropolitan area. The proposed line of research is designed to support development of a sustainable solution to this problem, namely a non-profit network, The Aphasia Collaborative (TAC), tailored to augment access to post-discharge services and support for all North-Texas residents impacted by aphasia.
