Evaluate promising high entropy alloys (HEA) or complex concentrated alloys (CCA) candidates for additive manufacturing that exhibit excellent oxidation resistance and high strengths at elevated temperatures  CALPHAD-based predictions (PANDAT/ThermoCalc) of phase stability, phase fractions and solvus temperatures for strengthening ordered precipitates (L12/B2) in precipitation strengthenable FCC based HEAs/CCAs based on the AlxTiyCoCrFeNi system – identify promising composition ranges with high L12/B2 phase fractions with high solvus temperatures  LENS (AM) deposition of compositionally graded HEAs/CCAs based on CALPHAD predictions using blends of elemental powders with pre-alloyed powders, as necessary.  Characterize the microstructure (SEM and XRD), microhardness, and oxidation behavior of these AM processed compositionally graded alloys in the as-deposited condition  Detailed characterization using TEM and 3D atom probe of specific compositions of interest as needed.  Short-list 2-3 promising HEA/CCA compositions for processing as pre-alloyed powders by TOSOH Inc.  Characterization of the microstructure and mechanical properties (tensile) of the AM processed short-listed HEAs/CCAs using pre-alloyed powders.
