Research - The purpose of the present study is to explore the lived experiences of counselor trainees with online learning, in the hope of providing implications for counselor educators to navigate instructional, curricular, and programmatic designs to promote students’ online learning experience. A phenomenological design will be used to describe the common meaning of counselor trainees’ lived experiences of online learning. Fifteen counselor trainees are intended to be included for two rounds of in-depth, semi-structured Zoom interviews through purposeful sampling.
