Program Title: N/A
CFDA Linked: Aerospace Education Services Program

Note:

This research program involves fabricating and characterizing a two-way shape memory alloy for a lightweight, ultrahigh compaction bolt-on de-orbit device for spacecraft. L’Garde, Inc. will provide requirements on two "memorized shapes" that the 2-way shape memory alloy must have. These are at one "high temperature" and the other at a "cold(er) temperature". This research will impact the spacecraft operation through the use of this new bolt-on de-orbit device for space flight.
