SAMS 1.1.1 The purpose of this research project is to conduct fundamental research on electrical breakdown in water using a DOE national lab's tools and facilities. The proposed research aims to clarify the sources and multiplication processes of primary electrons that lead to the first plasma channel formation in nanosecond breakdown in pure water and water with dispersed phases
