SAMS 1.1.1- Research programs at the Citrus Center have been reorganized into six core research programs including 1) Plant, Soil and Water management, 2) Integrated pest and conservation management, 3) Plant Pathology and Pathogen Biology, 4) Citrus breeding and varietal evaluation, 5) Surveys and diagnostics, and 6) Post-harvest management. The goal of these core programs is to conduct research leading to practical solutions for sustained and improved citrus production in Texas Key to success of these core research programs will be sustainable seed funding for technical and activity support provided by TCPB. It is important that TCPB assist with funding for supplies and research personnel with expertise in sensitive and expensive equipment and procedures.
