SAMS 1.1.1 The single most important goal and objective of this project is to ensure that the Texas citrus industry and any entity that propagates citrus in Texas has a reliable quality source for 100% clean, pathogen-free, true-to-type germplasm. A clean source of citrus material is one of the most important factors for the survival and growth of the Texas citrus industry. A clean, reliable, high quality source of germplasm is vital for preventing the spread of disease and pathogens, and is a key factor in slowing the spread of HLB in Texas.
