Undergraduate Education Advisory Committee
The UEAC serves as a forum for problem-solving and the generation of good ideas to improve undergraduate education that reflect the goals of Texas’ higher education plan, 60x30TX. UEAC provides advice and recommendations to the Board regarding policy the Board and institutions should take to enhance undergraduate education in Texas.
Status: The UEAC is a standing, non-statutory committee and its purpose is outlined in the Texas Administrative Code.
Meeting Schedule: The UEAC meets between two to four times a year. Agenda are posted in the Texas Register a minimum of 7 days before a meeting.
Membership: The UEAC membership includes representatives from public community and technical colleges, universities, and health related institutions, independent colleges and universities, and one non-voting student member. Voting members serve three-year, staggered terms.
